Organization slugs are used in your Stainless URLs, including project access URLs and API documentation URLs. You may want to change your organization's slug to make it shorter, more readable, or better aligned with your branding.

The Stainless team can help rename your organization's slug. Before requesting a change, please note:

• Changing your organization slug will affect all URLs associated with your organization, including:

  • Your Stainless dashboard URL (app.stainless.com/[slug]/projects)

  • Your API documentation URL ([name].stldocs.com)

• While old documentation URLs will continue to work, they won't receive updates after the migration

• If you have custom domain settings for your documentation, you'll need to update your DNS records to point to the new URLs

To request a slug change:

1. Contact Stainless support and request an organization slug change

2. Specify your current slug and desired new slug

3. Once the change is completed, update any bookmarks or internal references to your Stainless URLs

4. If using custom domains for documentation, update your DNS records to point to the new documentation URL
